# Office and consultation hours

The Center for Advanced Research Computing offers weekly office hours. We are
here to help with any question or problem related to CARC and look forward to
meeting with you.

Open office hours and consultations are held on Zoom. Please connect from a
computer rather than a phone: we will likely ask you to share your screen so we
can help.

## Open office hours

**Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Mountain Time**

Open office hours are first-come, first-served, so there may be a short wait,
but we are usually able to see everyone who comes. Because of demand we cannot
accommodate special appointment times outside these slots.

## Consultation hours

Consultations are for longer discussions with a single user or research group:
debugging a workflow, planning a computation, or scoping the computing section
of a proposal. They must be booked in advance — email Associate Director
[Matthew Fricke](mailto:mfricke@unm.edu) with a short description of what you
would like to cover.
