AHPCC and Access Grid Host Turpin
A staffer for the office of US Senator Pete Domenici visited the AHPCC on Thursday
August 10. Elizabeth Turpin took a tour of the AHPCC building learned of the
different computer systems housed at the center. She was also shown the progress
of the research activities that run through the AHPCC. She was then given a
demonstration on the Alliance Access Grid. Turpin interacted with researchers
on the grid from different nodes.
The Argonne National Laboratory, Kansas University, the MHPCC, and several
other sites (also run by UNM) all helped run the demonstration over the grid.
