PETSc Workshop October 17 & 18, 2000

PETSc (Portable, Extensible Toolkit for Scientific Computation) Developers at Argonne National Laboratory are presenting a two-day workshop over the Access Grid on October 17 & 18, 2000. You can participate in the workshop from the AHPCC's Access Grid node.

PETSc is a suite of datastructures and routines for the scalable (parallel) solution of scientific applications modeled by partial differential equations.

This two-day course sponsored by the Alliance is an initiative of the Partners for Advanced Computational Services.

The Access Grid is an experimental suite of hardware, software, and tools to facilitate group collaborative experiences over the Internet. If your site has Access Grid facilities and is interested in
participating, please contact Leslie Southern at leslie@osc.edu by September 11, 2000.
