## The role

You will run the [MESA](https://idss-mesa.github.io/){target=_blank} project — a
$4.6M NSF cooperative agreement (award #2632685, 2026–2029) — the way NSF
expects a cooperative agreement to be run: the Project Execution Plan, a
WBS-based schedule with budget tracking, the risk register, change control,
monthly meetings with the NSF program officer, and day-to-day coordination
across three institutions and two subawards. You report directly to the
principal investigator at CARC.

## What you bring

* Experience managing funded research or infrastructure projects.
* Fluency with earned-value-informed progress tracking.
* The authority to keep an Agile software project on a federal baseline.
