The UNM Center for Advanced Research Computing (CARC) will host its annual CARC Annual Meeting (CAM) on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Zimmerman Library in the technology enabled B30, located in the basement. Registration is now open!

CAM brings together members of the CARC community for a day of updates, discussion, and research highlights from across the university. The meeting provides an opportunity for researchers, students, and staff to connect with CARC personnel, learn about the latest developments in the center, and share how high-performance computing is supporting research across a wide range of disciplines.

Building on the success of previous meetings, this year’s event will once again include a student poster session. Students and researchers are encouraged to submit posters when registering to share how they are using CARC resources in their work. The poster session offers a chance to showcase ongoing projects, spark conversations, and connect with other members of the research computing community at UNM.

The meeting will also feature updates from CARC staff and discussions about the current and future role of research computing at the university. The event is designed to foster collaboration between users and the center while providing a space for the community to exchange ideas and feedback.

The 2026 CARC Annual Meeting will take place from 11am - 3pm on Tuesday, April 21, in Zimmerman Library B30 with lunch provided for attendees. Additional details, including the meeting agenda, will be shared soon.

Those interested in attending or presenting a poster can register here!
