Registration is open for the 2025 CARC User Meeting
By Mariah Rosales
The UNM Center for Advanced Research Computing (CARC) is excited to announce its fourth annual User Meeting, scheduled for April 14, 2025. Registration is now open!
The CARC User Meeting serves as a platform for meaningful exchanges between users and center staff, while also fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. This event provides an opportunity for researchers across various fields to share insights, provide feedback, and contribute to the ongoing development of CARC’s computing resources.
Building on the success of last year’s student poster session, we are thrilled to continue this tradition. We encourage students and researchers to submit abstracts when registering to showcase their work at the afternoon poster reception. Poster submissions will be accepted until the registration deadline on April 4, 2025. Posters should be 36” x 48”.
This year’s event will feature updates on CARC initiatives over a luncheon, a keynote presentation, researcher discussions, and an open forum to discuss current research computing needs. The day will conclude with the poster session, accompanied by coffee and snacks, where students and postdoctoral researchers will present their computational research projects.
Registration will close on Friday, April 4. Lunch will be provided! We invite all those interested in research computing to join us, engage with the CARC community, and learn more about the cutting-edge resources available at UNM.
Room information and meeting agenda will be posted soon.
